Rules for the Training Ground

1. The object of the game is to introduce new members to Maidens of the Force. It's a lot of fun, and a great way of making like-minded friends. However, it is NOT compulsory. Anyone can post on these boards, whether or not they've taken part in this game.

2. All families from the SWCezboard will be carried over into the Training Ground. In other words, if you were trained there, or a master there, you don't have to be trained here. However you may be trained if you choose to. New people to the game must be trained if they want to be a knight or master.

3. A Padawan becomes a Knight when he/she goes through training/trials with a Master, then becomes a Master by training his/her own Padawan.

4. It is up to a Padawan who she/he chooses for a Master. Anyone can post up a thread announcing their status and requesting a Master/Padawan, but the Padawan makes the decision. Please limit replies in these threads to interested parties - no "don't pick her, pick him" -type replies.

5. Knights can only take on one Padawan. Masters can take on as many as they think they can handle, but if there are a lot of Knights/Masters looking for Padawans, it would be appreciated if they, too, limit themselves to one.

6. Training is entirely up to the Knight/Master. The norm is approximately 5 tasks, followed by a trial - if all are successfully completed, an announcement of the Padawan's Knighting Ceremony is usually posted.

8. The actual tasks are also the exclusive decision of the Knight/Master, although it is recommended that they take into account the interests/personality of the Padawan, and the fact that they are supposed to be learning more about MotF, ezboard and general internet skills. Tasks can take place on this board or by email - it's up to the participants.
