New Month, Fresh Start
Happy Feb. 1! I don't know about you, but each month, the first day of the month is a clean slate to me. It's time to start over fresh. Eat healthier, exercise more, stress less. I'm going to try to do all of those things, but my main focus for this month is to spend less money on my lunches. We had been doing a lunch group at work, but I'm not sure that's going to happen much this month because we're all so busy. So, I'm on my own to eat healthier and more cheaply. I'm going to track how much I spend every day. Monday 2/1: Lunch from Target 1/2 ham & cheese sammie: $1.49 macaroni salad: $1.49 20 oz Pepsi: $1.39 Total: $4.37 Labels: lunch, money, spending

Medical Web...stat!
As many of you know, I dabble in website design. I am by no means specialize in a specific area of design like medical website design. Good thing there is a company out there that does. A modern medical practice demands a website that is searchable, indexed, and findable by the thousands of potential patients that search for medical practitioners online in any metropolitan area every day. Check out their design portfolio to see what they can offer your business. In their design cycle they generally spend from between 55 to 60 % of their efforts on search engine optimization. That means more people will find your website via search engines which means more potential business for your practice. Labels: paid_post

What's for dinner tonight?
I seriously have *no* clue how I could spend this much at H-E-B this month and still can't for the life of me think of anything in the pantry or fridge I can make for dinner tonight. It baffles me. Labels: money, spending

New Week, Fresh Start
I'm trying to be positive this morning. Last week SUCKED big time. The kiddo was sick starting the previous Friday (1/15), and that meant that my holiday last Monday was spent taking care of him instead of me. Yes, I know I am a Mom now and that's how it is, but it didn't make it much easier. Work's been ridiculously busy, too. Even though I only worked 27 hours last week, it felt like 60. So, it's a new week, the kiddo's better and back at daycare, and I'm trying to be positive at work. I was up at 5:00 this morning with Jack, but I'm going to try my best to push his wake-up time to 5:30 so I can start working out via the Wii Fit at 5:00 every morning. Thanks to Kat for the inspiration to do 30 minutes of activity every day. If I can't do it in the morning, I'll just have to do it in an already-packed evening schedule. So, hope all of you are having a good Monday morning, and let's all stay positive! :) Labels: 30minsaday

Looking For a Fridge?

We ended up finding a great one, but a website to help us decide the best one for the amount of money we had to spend would have been a lot of help. If you’re looking for the Cheapest Fridge Freezers in the UK, www.cheapfridges.org.uk carry the top brands in the UK and offer buying advice and can show you how to save money on your purchase. Game time!
I know that my husband and I love playing computer games, and one I've always wanted to try is World of Warcraft. It's similar to many other MMORPGs, but it has incredible graphics, and award-wining game play. The basic concept is generic; start as a newbie, and slowly work your way up the ranks. The best way to level up is to complete quests. To do so faster, in-game money can help you along. You can now Buy WoW Gold at the World of Warcraft (WoW) Gold Shop. It only takes a few simple steps and you're ready to go! Labels: paid_post

Blind As A Bat
As you guys know, I wear glasses. What you may not know is that I’ve worn them since the middle of 1st grade. So, that’s pretty much as far back as I can remember. What amazes me is the amount of money my parents spent, and now I spend, on glasses. We’ve tried the discount places without much luck, and the “one-hour” places can be very pricey even when they have sales. That’s why I’m excited to look into getting eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. After reading this article, I’m convinced that I will have to give them a try the next time I need glasses. High quality glasses at a low cost? What else could you need? Labels: paid_post
