listening to: Richard Marx - Now and Forever Why am I listening to the Love Songs station on Launchcast? :( I miss him so badly already...this won't help. Doesn't it seem we like to depress ourselves more in times like this? I always listen to sappy love stuff when I miss him...what is that? Is it only a girl thing? Is it like therapeutic or something? listening to: Berlin - Take My Breath Away Work has been busy and stressful. I came so close to calling in sick this morning. After I got out of the shower I made the mistake of laying back down for a few minutes...until I realized I had a meeting I *had* to be there for. I also decided I would keep my "sick" day for Monday. Dustin will be getting in at like midnite Sunday, so then I can stay home with him Monday and stuff. I also have a mini in-town vacay planned for us next weekend. I think it will be good for us. We neither one have the time now for a real vacation, so this will have to do for now. Not too much else is going on. I haven't been sleeping well this week, so I hope I can sleep better tonite. I won't be online too long...I think a hot shower and curling up in bed with a good movie is what I want to do. listening to: Norah Jones - Come Away With Me gah...I love Norah's voice. I am standing outside of my life looking in today. It is like watching it on tv. Things are going to have to get better...soon. I am trying hard not to turn to food for comfort which is what I normally do in times like this. Staying home from work Monday just made me sad that I can't work from home. I loved being there and getting stuff done. I am tired of having to spend one day out of every weekend cleaning the house and grocery shopping. If I were home during the week I could get it all done then and enjoy my weekends. Dustin is so lucky to have found a career, not just a job, the first time out of the gate. He gets to work pretty much for himself...and doesn't have to answer to petty, insecure, power-hungry people all day long. He also gets recognized when he does good work...I can't remember the last time I was praised by my supervisor. What motivation do I have anymore to do good work for these people? I need a vacation. Just a 3 day trip to Vegas (chingy-ching) or something fun like that. I don't think we can afford it now though. I need to save up to go see Juli this fall. I cannot wait to go up there...I miss her terribly. Ok...guess I should go pretend to work for a while... 7.09.2004
 How random are you? this quiz was made by alanna omg yay! figured out what was wrong with the template code...now you can see the list of how many comments there are...and if you click on that it takes you to the individual posts where you can comment. i think the girl that wrote up the code for this template just forgot a piece of the code.
i really like blogger for the most part, but it is way more complicated than LJ :p blah. blogger is upsetting me. i have the comments feature turned on, but it isn't showing up. it shows up when i view individual posts...but what good does that do? :(
i am so glad it is friday. i am so tired...and i really don't have any reason to be. i have been sleeping well all week, but i feel like i have been up partying every night! heidi came up last nite and we had a great time! i hate that we live farther apart now...i forgot how much fun we have together. i told her when dustin is out of town at the end of the month that i will go and stay with her :) i am looking forward to a quiet weekend. dustin will be gone during the day tomorrow, so maybe i'll clean. i really don't want to do anything...except watch six feet under season 2 (which arrived yesterday) ^^ 7.08.2004
